Spirituality
The original inhabitants of the US, the Native Americans, based their life on spirituality. They journeyed through time to find answers. Their ancestors showed them the way. Their initiations prepared young people for their responsibility within the tribe.
All over the States you find centers of spirituality with their specific traditions and rituals. Virginia Beach with the Edgar Casey Center, Arizona, California, Washington State and New York City are well known places for spirituality seekers.
Nature, space and the fullness of life help people be open to spiritual experiences, and to find meaning in their lives.
Many spiritual ideas from the US cross the ocean, and are a source of inspiration in The Netherlands.
The ingredients for spirituality for the future can be:
• Belief in the future, in progress, in ideals.
• Taking responsibility, broad, far-reaching and in depth. For yourself, towards the people
you live and work with, for the environment and society.
• Building true relationships for the long term.
• Acting with awareness to make ecological choices. And while doing so, acting meaningful
and inspired.
This way, future generations will do their part. They can be their own gurus. Instead of the road less travelled, they will travel this road more and more.
If you could choose your ingredients for spirituality for the future, what would they be, and where will they take you?
How can you be your own guru in life and in business?
