America is result oriented. Doing business is synonymous with achieving results. Managers are constantly demanding for reports, to assure that the employees realize their targets.
However, if this motive gets too much emphasis, the risk is that the interaction process is forgotten.
An axiom from the Dutch Associates for Corporate Change (ACC) work with, is that you get as far as the interaction allows you to, with the content and the work.
The US’ West Coast can boast Silicon Valley, a location teeming with creativity, especially in the field of IT. On the East Coast is New York’s Tech Valley, a region stretching from the Canadian border to just north of New York City – it is brimming with opportunity and excitement. Tech Valley offers rewarding career and business prospects, world-class educational and research facilities and a fantastic quality of life.
Here you are on the cutting edge. Nanotech. Biotech. Semiconductor. Tech Valley is home to the state of the art technology, including the world’s prime catalyst for semiconductor research, a center of excellence in nanotechnology, with world-class researchers in everything from robotics to nanotubes. The Trudeau Institute conducts advanced immunology research. The Minor Institute is a leader in agri-science. IBM, GE and others in IT, alternative energy and biotechnology. Few places on earth are farther out front.
The success comes together with the art of connectivity. People in Tech Valley are invited to connect with the Fortune 500 leaders and cutting edge entrepreneurs who form the local business community. They network with industry leaders at The Tech Valley Summit. The inner circle is surprisingly accessible. It is about seeing and being seen.

Trade is an important part on the Dutch DNA. On Queen’s Day, one part of The Netherlands is selling their stuff to the other part of the Dutch. The whole country looks like one big garage sale.
Americans too like their flee markets, auctions and garage sales. This seems logical since there is quite a bit of Dutch DNA in the American blood. Which is another result of the Dutch settling of New Netherland four hundred years ago.
Results are the benefits of the interactions and actions that people work on together. You might say that the partnership of the USA and the American people and The Netherlands and the Dutch is a promise for all kinds of results in the next four hundred years.
